Great product, work as expected. installation part was very smooth. all required tools provided in package. make sure when you order add DFU kit in basket, it will be free of cost with SSD order. i tested with vmware based restore as well as using MacOS VM installed on proxmox. Highly recommend. The warranty is only for 1 year, hope it will work more than that.
Module 4 T for M4 pro, received on time and matches the description perfectly. Installation took half an hour, just a little fiddling around to restore the MAC, I had to download the firmware manually and then do the restore.
The SSD works flawlessly and the Mac recognizes it as the original.
NB: Nice surprise in the box, it contained everything needed to open the Mac and remove what was necessary.

又ギターのピックみたいな開ける奴も使い物になりませんでしたのでアーミーナイフで蓋をあけ開けました。

Dead after 5 Month of use. Unfortunately my Mac mini M4 Pro does not work any longer, it will only show an amber flashing LED. Switching back to original Apple Module brings everything back to normal. Customer Support does not respond to my eMail queries. Poor performance.

Installation was a breeze and the startup process went smoothly, I wished I could have afforded the larger unit, but it running great and cool, which was a major concern. I am now exploring the range of software it can handle and so far, Great!! Well Worth the investment, Shame on Apple!!

Great value and speed compared to the Apple supplied SSD.
Only had it in my Mac mini for a few days and it’s already changed my workflow completely. Haven’t had any issues yet, although the supplied screwdriver isn’t magnetic- something I’d recommend that the supplier provides instead of the non-magnetic one.
Arrived within 7- 10 days. Was able to install without any issues or errors! Hope it will last!
It was as easy as expected to exchange the 512GB to 4TB. Additional the Data transfer rate increased significantly. Thank you. No need the VM to recover, a additional MacBook is enough to detect the mini and recover him.

Works like great. The international delivery was on time, and the quality of the packaging and the set of necessary tools are also very convenient.
I bought the 4TB version and I am completely satisfied with it. The original SSD in the Mac Mini M4 Pro, with its 512 MB, was much too small for the musical use I have for my Mac Mini M4 Pro. Installation is super simple. You just have to be careful not to break the three thin cables. And you need an M series Mac to reinstall MacOS on the new SSD. The transfer speeds are great. I hope the new SSD will be reliable over time.
I can’t wait to get another one compatible with my M2 Studio M2 Studio Max.

I’m delighted with my 4TB SSD for my new Mac mini M4-Pro! It was packed well, included the tools needed to open up my Mac mini, and it worked perfectly. And OMFG is it fast! All for a third of Apple’s price. Win-win.
The kit for opening the Mac Mini Pro is excellent, and the installation is straightforward. However, for the price, the SSD should include a thermal pad. Without it, the SSD runs quite hot (on my testing, 85-100 C) than when I added my own thermal pads (max 74 C).

Respuesta corta: El “Error 21” casi siempre significa que el enlace de datos USB-C se cayó al inicio del DFU.

Intercambiar el cable – utilizar un pasivo USB-C (≤ 1 m).
✓ Cable de carga/datos USB-C de 0,8 m de Apple
✓ Cualquier cable pasivo de 10 Gbps con certificación MFi
✗ Evite cables, concentradores y bases Thunderbolt 3/4 activos - Conexión directa y potencia estable – Conecte la Mac restaurada directamente al puerto DFU de la Mac mini y mantenga ambas Mac en sus adaptadores de corriente originales.
- Utilice Ethernet con cable en la Mac restaurada durante la descarga de IPSW (Cat-6 o mejor).

Ejecute una nueva "Restaurar" en Apple Configurator (última versión, IPSW correcto).
La restauración normalmente demora entre 15 y 25 minutos. - ¿Aún ves un error? Anote el código + la marca de tiempo y envíenoslo por correo electrónico (support@m4boosthub.com) Le guiaremos o gestionaremos un reemplazo/reembolso.

P: Apple Configurator se bloquea con el mensaje "Error desconocido (2006)". ¿Qué significa y cómo puedo solucionarlo?
A: El error 2006 aparece cuando el firmware del Mac mini no detecta una unidad SSD/NAND en funcionamiento al primer protocolo de enlace. Casi siempre se debe a un problema de contacto o a una unidad defectuosa. Prueba estos pasos:

Vuelva a colocar y limpie el módulo
• Apague y retire el SSD.
• Limpie los contactos dorados con alcohol isopropílico al 99 %.
• Deslícelo completamente hacia adentro (sin que quede visible el borde dorado) y apriete el tornillo con los dedos. -
Ejecute DFU Restore con una configuración “buena”
• Último configurador de Apple + IPSW recién descargado.
• Corto (≤ 1 m) pasivo Cable USB-C directamente entre las Mac (sin concentradores ni bases).
• Elegir Restaurar, no Reanimary esperar 15-25 min. -
Verificar con el SSD de Apple
• Si la unidad Apple original se restaura correctamente pero la nuestra falla, el módulo está defectuoso → contáctenos para obtener un reemplazo gratuito.

P: Durante el modo DFU, la barra de progreso se mueve durante unos minutos y luego aparece el mensaje "Error desconocido (4041)". ¿Qué ocurre?
A: El error 4041 indica que la restauración falló al escribir o verificar la imagen del firmware. En el 90 % de los casos, se debe a un problema de cableado o de integridad del IPSW; rara vez, el SSD está defectuoso.
- Cambiar a un cable certificado Utilice el cable de carga/datos USB-C de 0,8 m de Apple o cualquier cable USB-C pasivo de 10 Gbps ≤ 1 m. Evite cables y concentradores/bases Thunderbolt "activos".
- Vuelva a descargar el IPSW – Un archivo parcialmente descargado puede generar el error 4041 en la etapa “Preparando Mac para la restauración”.
- Energía estable y Ethernet – Mantenga ambas Mac en sus adaptadores originales y conecte la Mac host a través de una LAN cableada para evitar caídas de Wi-Fi.
- Comprobar el asiento del SSD – Vuelva a colocar la placa y asegúrese de que el tornillo esté ajustado; incluso 0,3 mm de juego pueden interrumpir el ciclo de escritura.
- Prueba con el SSD de fábrica – Si la unidad Apple se restaura exitosamente pero la nuestra falla nuevamente, el módulo puede estar defectuoso → contáctenos para un cambio gratuito.

Respuesta corta: Todavía no tenemos un modelo de 8 TB en la hoja de ruta.
¿Por qué no (por ahora)?
- Costo del componente – Los precios de NAND de alta densidad siguen siendo volátiles.
- Envoltura térmica – Las capacidades mayores consumen más energía, por lo que necesitamos una validación adicional para mantenernos dentro de los límites de la Mac mini.
- Demanda del mundo real – Actualmente, menos del 3 % de las consultas de clientes requieren más de 4 TB.
