Easy installation with tools provided. Follow instructional video on youtube and you will be fine. I have to thank for great support with providing also DFU kit for recovery of the mac mini.

In your YouTube tutorial you state that reinstalling macOS can be done via iTunes, which is incorrect.
Your website doesn’t clearly explain that a second Mac with a T2 or Apple Silicon chip is required to complete the system restore.
You also don’t mention that Apple Stores can easily perform this reinstallation service, which is useful information for customers.
The hardware is good, but clearer, more accurate guidance would make the experience much better.

You’re absolutely right: our older video mistakenly mentioned using iTunes to reinstall macOS. That’s incorrect. Per Apple’s current guidance, a DFU revive/restore should be done with another Mac (running macOS Sonoma 14 or later) using the DFU tools in Finder, then completing macOS installation if needed. On your second point: yes, a second Mac is required for a DFU revive/restore. It does not need to be a T2/Apple-silicon Mac specifically — any Mac running macOS 14+ will work (per Apple’s article above). We’ll make this requirement much clearer on our website.

Worked great. Easy installation and great read/write speeds. The included tools was not of good quality, but I already had the needed torx bits.
