Great product, work as expected. installation part was very smooth. all required tools provided in package. make sure when you order add DFU kit in basket, it will be free of cost with SSD order. i tested with vmware based restore as well as using MacOS VM installed on proxmox. Highly recommend. The warranty is only for 1 year, hope it will work more than that.
Module 4 T for M4 pro, received on time and matches the description perfectly. Installation took half an hour, just a little fiddling around to restore the MAC, I had to download the firmware manually and then do the restore.
The SSD works flawlessly and the Mac recognizes it as the original.
NB: Nice surprise in the box, it contained everything needed to open the Mac and remove what was necessary.

又ギターのピックみたいな開ける奴も使い物になりませんでしたのでアーミーナイフで蓋をあけ開けました。

Dead after 5 Month of use. Unfortunately my Mac mini M4 Pro does not work any longer, it will only show an amber flashing LED. Switching back to original Apple Module brings everything back to normal. Customer Support does not respond to my eMail queries. Poor performance.

Installation was a breeze and the startup process went smoothly, I wished I could have afforded the larger unit, but it running great and cool, which was a major concern. I am now exploring the range of software it can handle and so far, Great!! Well Worth the investment, Shame on Apple!!

Great value and speed compared to the Apple supplied SSD.
Only had it in my Mac mini for a few days and it’s already changed my workflow completely. Haven’t had any issues yet, although the supplied screwdriver isn’t magnetic- something I’d recommend that the supplier provides instead of the non-magnetic one.
Arrived within 7- 10 days. Was able to install without any issues or errors! Hope it will last!
It was as easy as expected to exchange the 512GB to 4TB. Additional the Data transfer rate increased significantly. Thank you. No need the VM to recover, a additional MacBook is enough to detect the mini and recover him.

Works like great. The international delivery was on time, and the quality of the packaging and the set of necessary tools are also very convenient.
I bought the 4TB version and I am completely satisfied with it. The original SSD in the Mac Mini M4 Pro, with its 512 MB, was much too small for the musical use I have for my Mac Mini M4 Pro. Installation is super simple. You just have to be careful not to break the three thin cables. And you need an M series Mac to reinstall MacOS on the new SSD. The transfer speeds are great. I hope the new SSD will be reliable over time.
I can’t wait to get another one compatible with my M2 Studio M2 Studio Max.
Quick delivery, works as expected
I’m delighted with my 4TB SSD for my new Mac mini M4-Pro! It was packed well, included the tools needed to open up my Mac mini, and it worked perfectly. And OMFG is it fast! All for a third of Apple’s price. Win-win.
The kit for opening the Mac Mini Pro is excellent, and the installation is straightforward. However, for the price, the SSD should include a thermal pad. Without it, the SSD runs quite hot (on my testing, 85-100 C) than when I added my own thermal pads (max 74 C).

Kort antwoord: "Fout 21" betekent bijna altijd dat de USB-C-gegevensverbinding bij het begin van DFU is verbroken.

Wissel de kabel om – gebruik een passief USB-C (≤ 1 m).
✓ Apple 0,8 m USB-C-oplaad-/datakabel
✓ Elke MFi-gecertificeerde 10 Gbps passieve kabel
✗ Vermijd actieve Thunderbolt 3/4-kabels, hubs en docks - Directe verbinding en stabiele stroom – sluit de herstelde Mac rechtstreeks aan op de DFU-poort van de Mac mini en laat beide Macs aangesloten op hun originele stroomadapters.
- Gebruik bekabeld Ethernet op de Mac herstellen tijdens het downloaden van IPSW (Cat-6 of beter).

Voer een nieuwe 'Herstel' uit in Apple Configurator (nieuwste versie, correcte IPSW).
Normaal gesproken duurt het herstellen 15–25 minuten. - Ziet u nog steeds een fout? Noteer de code + tijdstempel en stuur ons een e-mail (support@m4boosthub.com). Wij begeleiden u of regelen een vervanging/terugbetaling.
Tip: Zorg ervoor dat de SSD goed vastzit. Een losse module kan ook fout 21 veroorzaken.
V: Apple Configurator stopt met "Onbekende fout (2006)". Wat betekent dit en hoe los ik dit op?
A: Fout 2006 treedt op wanneer de firmware van de Mac mini bij de eerste handshake geen werkende SSD/NAND kan detecteren. Dit is bijna altijd een contactprobleem of een defecte schijf. Probeer deze stappen:

Plaats de module opnieuw en maak deze schoon
• Schakel het apparaat uit en verwijder de SSD.
• Veeg de gouden contacten schoon met 99% isopropylalcohol.
• Schuif hem er helemaal in – geen gouden rand zichtbaar – en draai de schroef handvast aan. -
Voer DFU Restore uit met een 'bekende goede' installatie
• Nieuwste Apple Configurator + vers gedownloade IPSW.
• Kort (≤ 1 m) passief USB-C-kabel rechtstreeks tussen de Macs (geen hubs/docks).
• Kiezen Herstellen, niet Herleven, en wacht 15-25 min. -
Controleer met de Apple SSD
• Als de originele Apple-schijf zonder problemen herstelt, maar die van ons niet meer werkt, is de module defect. Neem contact met ons op voor een gratis vervanging.

V: Tijdens DFU beweegt de voortgangsbalk een paar minuten, waarna de melding "Onbekende fout (4041)" verschijnt. Wat is er aan de hand?
A: Fout 4041 betekent dat het herstel is mislukt tijdens het schrijven of verifiëren van de firmware-image. In 90% van de gevallen is het een probleem met de bekabeling of IPSW-integriteit; zelden is de SSD zelf defect.
- Stap over op een gecertificeerde kabel – Gebruik de 0,8 m USB-C-oplaad-/datakabel van Apple of een passieve 10 Gbps USB-C ≤ 1 m. Vermijd Thunderbolt-kabels en hubs/docks.
- Download de IPSW opnieuw – Een gedeeltelijk gedownload bestand kan een 4041 veroorzaken in de fase ‘Mac voorbereiden op herstel’.
- Stabiele stroom en Ethernet – Laat beide Macs op hun originele adapters zitten en verbind de host-Mac via een bekabeld LAN om wifi-uitval te voorkomen.
- Controleer de SSD-plaatsing – Plaats het bord terug en zorg dat de schroef goed vastzit; zelfs 0,3 mm speling kan de schrijfcyclus verstoren.
- Test met de fabrieks-SSD – Als de Apple-schijf succesvol herstelt, maar de onze opnieuw faalt, is de module mogelijk defect. Neem contact met ons op voor een gratis omruiling.
Als geen van bovenstaande de fout verhelpt, stuur dan een e-mail support@m4boosthub.comWe sturen u binnen 24 uur een vervangende SSD en sturen u een gefrankeerd retourlabel voor het huidige apparaat.
Wanneer verwacht u dat de 8 TB versie op voorraad is?
Kort antwoord: Er staat nog geen 8 TB-model op de planning.
Waarom niet (voorlopig)?
- Componentkosten – De prijzen voor high-density NAND zijn nog steeds onstabiel.
- Thermische envelop – Grotere capaciteiten verbruiken meer stroom, dus we hebben extra validatie nodig om binnen de limieten van de Mac mini te blijven.
- Vraag in de echte wereld – Minder dan 3% van de klantaanvragen vereist momenteel meer dan 4 TB.
Wat gebeurt er nu?
- Wij inventariseren elk kwartaal de marktvraag.
